Getting to Ilha Grande from Paraty?

1. Traveling Independently

There is a local bus service that leave from the Paraty Bus Terminal in the center of the city.

The company is called COLITUR and the buses are white with blue and orange lettering on the side.

The fare is approximately R$15.00. Luckily, the bus stops in Angra dos Reis just 200 metres from the santa luzia pier so it's easy to get to your boat for your departure to the Island.

The trip takes 2 hours. Sit on the right hand side of the bus and you'll get some nice sea views along the way!
