Does Aratinga offer full board or half board?

Aratinga offers a delicious and healthy breakfast with a variety of hot dishes served each day.

In the afternoon you will return home to a delicious English style afternoon tea, featuring freshly squeezed juices, freshly brewed coffee and a wide range of herbal and fruit teas, homemade cakes, mousses, puddings and biscuits.

We do not offer lunch, because, in our experience, we know that you will be far from Abraão village during the day! There are so many wonderful places to visit, such as: Praia Lopes Mendes for surfing, Praia Preta, Praia da Julia, or maybe you'll take a full day boat trip to snorkel in the Azul and Verde lagoons.    There are also wonderful walks to Cachoeira da Feiticeira, Vila de Dois Rios on the other side of the island, or to Saco do Céu. However, if you are in Abraão village, there are several popular restaurants. Lunch at a local restaurant will cost R$25 - R$35.

One of the greatest pleasures of your stay in Ilha Grande will be experiencing the nightlife. There are restaurants for all tastes and budgets. There are some excellent wood-fired pizzerias that offer very affordable dinner options.   Another good suggestion is "Lady Roots", a self-service restaurant which charges by the kilo with vegetarian option. 

There are excellent seafood restaurants along the beach such as  the "Rei de Camarão" .

For a romantic dinner at "Lua e Mar" on the beachfront, the seafood dinner of Moqueca for two will

cost +/- R$300, including drinks.and there are others offering classic cuisine. My favourite is "Dom Mario" , where you will enjoy the finest filet mignon, cooked to perfection. 

There are créperies offering sweet and savoury crepes.

On weekends there is a great barbecue on the beach .
